To stick or not to stick

I was trying to make a game...
"I'm thinking about making a game without little short stubby people on RPGM2 so im thinkin about buying RPGM3 but i was wondering about those limitations everyone was talkin about. Also my game will be based on metal gear solid games, kinda like the minigames poeple make (u kno, throw grenade, distract)
so can it be possible to make it?
    1 What are RPGM3's limitations.
2 Can i make my game with RPGM3?
3 How good do you think my game will be?

Also, the game will be a "full length" RPG with a full story line."-vader infection2004 "rpgmaker3 limited edition"

so i was wondering if u can attach events to people so u can have guards patrolling and have a couple events in front of them on umm touch activation and that gets u into a battle, restart level, end game etc.

You get the point. So can u do that and have the guards moving in RPGm3? Also in my last post "RPGM3 limited editon?" i was just jokin sice its limited so much.

Event (guard) movement is very limited. Even telling them to move left to right (one of only a few movement options) like a guard might, they mostly stand still.

Your game would not be challenging.

Sorry, but I do not think 3 is "geared" for your "solid metal" game.

I found with RPGM3 the best thing to do is to get it, play around and see what's possible, then tailor a game for it. You will never be able to decide what you want to do before seeing how this little system works.

Reconsider using 2! If you do not like the people's graphics (I agree on this point) use the animals (like I did in The Clean Underwear Quest) or Visual Effects generated characters (as in Videogamedrome).

      Good luck with it.

      Peace.

      MOO!

I have went back to using RPGMaker 2, because in my game I want about 7 continents to explore. Try that with RPGM3.
