Question about Dragonball/Z.

During the first tournament in Dragonball, Master Roshi destroyed the moon in an attempt to change Goku back to normal. Yet, the moon returns in Dragonball Z and changes Gohan into the beast, in which Piccolo quickly destroys it once more (and then later an image of the moon is projected, but that's not important).

Obviously, my question is, how and when did the moon come back? I believe I've seen the entire DB series, and all DBZ episodes up until Gohan's first transformation. Yet, I don't remember anybody making a wish or anything to make the moon come back.

Draygone, your confusion there is understandable. From my understanding they never wished the moon back so I think that this was a mistake that was made. Sometimes it is easy to forget somethings you have done earlier on during a series as long as the Dragon Ball series is. For example, later on in DBZ they showed flashbacks with Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa, during the flashbacks those saiyans don't have tails.

It was an image from Radditz's ship. A hologram that was projected from it.

That was the second time Gohan transformed, though. Piccolo shot at the moon and his beam went through the hologram. The first time Gohan transformed, the moon was real, Piccolo shot at it, it blew up, Gohan changed to normal.

I have a feeling itll be pushed back. which I kinda hope for, becasue Shadow of the Collosus and the Warriors comes out next week.

Well Dragon Ball is a much more comedic show, and DBZ is more serious, anything really between the too shouldnt be 100% linked.

The DB series(especially Dragon Ball GT) is full of plot holes. It's best not to think too much when watching it, or your brain will explode.

Well yeah, there's that whole "I'm so powerful, the planet will blow up if I blinked" deal going on. And yet they always seem to find someone more powerful than them. Though it certainly was refreshing when Bobbedi came along and his henchmen went down oh-so-easy, much to everyone's (except of course the Saiyans) surprise.

Just FYI- Toriyama said he planned to end DBZ at the end of the Freeza saga.

OR it's like all the crap Goku has to gain his supersaiyan form then like everybody else gains it like it's a birth right...not that I really wanted 100 episodes on how every character turns into a super anyways though.
