This was a PSP game, obviously third in the series, which was (is yet to be?) ported to the JP PSN, came out (is coming out) on a retail PS3 disc, and is now apparently gonna get ported to the 3DS.
In my Wizardry research of late, I came across the nugget that the first CoH was actually a port of a JP PS2 Wizardry title, with anime-fied characters. The next two were their own games. I know this will turn off Toaster even more to the imminent arrival of Wizardry on PSN, but I'm thinking I need to give the first CoH another chance. I went into it expecting something like EO, and when it wasn't, it let me down. But now that I'm heavily into Wizardry, I feel like I should give it another chance.
Depending on release schedule, this might be a good testing ground for the already-announced 3DS port of SMT: Strange Journey, and the supposedly forthcoming next EO game on the 3DS.
