Grandia. First love story I remember where the characters built their relationship up from the beginning and there was a part where it almost fell apart completely. I loved how the characters left the party for personal reasons of their own instead of deciding that an 8 year old girl saving the world was normal or that someone would leave their spouse behind to travel around with teenagers. Battle system was great fun too.

There are a lot to choose from. So many that I've enjoyed immensely.

However.

I would say that if given the choice to own one and play again it would be Xenogears.

oh damn there are so many, some of which i still play.

the most played id say is ff7 which is way high on my favorites. could be because this game and fft (second more played game) introduced me to the console. wild arms was also a very high favorite.

bof3 is also a fav, its the first game my mother ever bought me and i got it for easter. **** you chocolate, best easter gift ever!

beyond that i love xenogears, suikoden, both lunars, valkyrie profile, parasite eve, and a **** load of others that ive played more then once.

For me it would have to be in this order.
1. Grandia (love the theme of adventure and the love story between the two main characters.)

2. Xenogears (just love the love story and epic plot. Along with the mechs and combat.)

3. Lunar 1 and 2 (again the love story and great characters.)

4. FF7 (My first Final Fantasy I got to play.)

5. Wild Arms
