Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

Am I the only one interested in this game? Granted, it's really not typical for my taste in games, but this is the only "mainstream" game I'm really excited about this year. From everything that is shown, this just keeps looking better and better. It was the premise that really grabbed me initially, but with Andy Serkis as director and (obviously) doing motion capture, and Alex Garland writing, I have extremely high hopes for this. It's really not my "style" of game, but I preordered it quite a while back in any case.


Now if I can pull myself away from Etrian Odyssey III, I'd play the demo for this that I downloaded on PSN a few nights ago.

I'll grant you that I'm only basing this on trailers, but graphically, it seems like a slight step down from Heavenly Sword. Doesn't matter to me, though, as the premise is what hooked me.

Reminds me of Jak and Daxter with a mix of Uncharted platforming. That's a good thing!

The demo was fun and interesting. It came off as overly scripted though, hopefully the platforming wont be as simple in the full game.
