Games that you'd like to see but will (most likely) never be...

Basically, this thread is about "what-if" or "dream" games that you'd personally like to see made, but due to certain restraints (time, money, corperate mumbo-jumbo, etc.), they will more than likely never come to pass.

The only thing that comes to mind is another Shadowrun game. Its kind of sad when the last solid, fun title can be dated back to the early to mid 90s.

Jesus. You haven't been the same since you played that Other M demo...

I'd like a new Ecco the Dolphin and a current-gen Road Rash with online multiplayer, Santa.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.

I remember after beating Ultimate Spiderman and running around as Venom, leaping from rooftop to rooftop and watching the cement crack beneath my bulk, I suddenly realized that a sandbox game for the Tick with similar mechanics could have been one of the best things in the universe. Alas.

I liked Gladius a lot from a gameplay perspective (one of the best SRPGs from last gen, for whatever that's worth), but don't really feel like the story needed closure or anything. Still, not a bad choice.

            Real Shining Force.

A Grandia game that doesn't suck like Extreme and 3 did.

              Looney Tunes vs Aliens.

Prequels to modern day games released for older systems.

Like a Space Channel 5 game for the SNES.

Or an 8-bit Frequency for the NES.

Actually, any new games being put out on a cartridge to be played on your old system sounds neat.

                    - Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System released on US shores.
                    - ****, for that matter, MOTHER 3 released on US shores.
                    - I'll echo Magus's Super Metroid 2 sentiment as well.
                    - A Streets of Rage sequel. Like, old school style. At least there's this... if it ever gets ****ing released.

                    And someone's gotta say it:

                    - Chrono Trigger 2... uh, 3. Whatever.

Shenmue came to mind for me, as well.

I'll echo current-gen Road Rash and Shenmue III.

And I'll add in an online version of San Francisco Rush 2049, or hell a new Rush game that isn't awful and still has the crazy stunt mode the dreamcast release had.

Oh, also a current gen Hexen-esque game would be killer.

                          Chrono 3, of course.

                          Mega Man Legends Online.

Seiken Densetsu 4 remade for DS and released stateside.
                          ...and that's why.
