So! There I was sitting on the couch minding my own business...
But seriously, I was on the couch watching T.V., Cat jumps up, so I put her on my lap. She flips out, spasming, clawing everywhere she can, and jumps off the couch.
So I've got some bloody scratches and am thinking "Was there a bug or something?"
Got up a couple minutes later, went over to the computer chair, picked her up, and she purred happily in my lap. I'm thinking it was a fluke, so I bring her back to the couch. My butt hits the cushion and she flips out again. Of course by this time I've got quite a few gashes, and I say to myself, "In the name of science, I'll risk it again."
My thoughts are, the smell of my sister's cats on my blanket / pillow is causing her to flip out. I take her to another chair, she's fine. I febreeze the pillow, bring it over, she's fine.
I febreeze the couch, bring her over ever so slowly, and I feel her tense up as I start to sit, so I let it go. Leave some treats there, she goes up, eats them, leaves but still will not go there willingly.
What the **** is up with my cat?
