A Proposition

Okay, listen up peoples. *Waits for peoples to listen up.* Okay, everyone is excited for RPG Maker 3. I know I am. but I need an action replay max evo to put my stuff on the web, and a USB keyboard to make something worth playing. And, I want to see what RPG maker 3 can do. So, here's my propostion:
After a grueling first couple weeks of school, we're all going to want a break. So listen up; After RPG maker 3 comes out, until september 24th, we work non-stop to mess with the new features. Then, on september 24th, everyone releases their demos, no matter how far or good they are. We can probably all learn something from everybody. So, what do you say? You in?

(Just for clarfication, I am not asking you to make a complete game. I'm not that crazy. Just work on a complete game and present whatever you have done.)

.... That was pretty damn forward coming from newblood, but it certainly dosen't sound like a bad idea. It could help get everyone's priorities straight from the get-go rather than having a number of people out of the loop asking random "Can you do this?" questions in the long run.

I like to see what video camera movements, and angles everyone comes up with.

Also, seeing what they can do with the land maker.

I expect everyone fluent with RPGM2 to go much quicker with 3 than those that aren't.

Dude, I wouldn't be surprised if I get a whole damn game done by then, the way RPGM3 is sounding. Especially since you get all that premade stuff to fool around with.

I never thought so many people woould come do the contest. I'm so happy Well, I'm ordering a keyboard and max drive, so i can probobly get RPG3 first day. Even if I can't, i'll have enough time to make something. So, we are gonna have a lot of games!
Is this deadline working for everyone?

Yeah. A newblood like me certainly can't choose a winner! Well, hopefully everyone will have some to offer. Except me (still can't work RPG2). Well, mabye I'll just think of something different.

If you want to make it a contest, you probably could, if you went through the right channels. Personally, I like the idea of everybody getting to see what everyone is doing and capable of.
