Best gaming news I've heard in a long time (i.e. Zelda and new DS).

I'd be pretty cool if a DS2 would come out in 2010, but it's highly unlikely, being the fact that Nintendo has yet to release its DSi XL. 2011 seems like it'd be the year for something like that to happen. Then again, they released the Game Boy Micro when the DS was announced, so who knows.

Time for me to finally get a Wii.

TP was great, but seemed to be more of an afterthought for the Wii (being as it was principally developed for the Gamecube). So it'll be very interesting to see how they handle this new one, designed specifically for the Wii.

Time for me to finally get a Wii.

TP was great, but seemed to be more of an afterthought for the Wii (being as it was principally developed for the Gamecube). So it'll be very interesting to see how they handle this new one, designed specifically for the Wii.

Wii Motionplus was confirmed for the title, and the design structure is said to be different than that of previous Zelda entries. With that in mind, we likely won't know much more until this years E3.

Hmm. Probably more detailed sword mechanics. Hopefully better than that red steel game.

If the swords were 1:1 motion I could get into it, but just don't try to sell people a rubber sword.

It will go through thier TVs.

There are some third-party companies that make sword attachments (http://www.notcot.com/archives/2007/...wordshield.php). But I don't think that there was an official one.

If they are going to do 1:1, I wonder if they'll make Link right handed? Or if they'll let you choose?

Though that artical is six months old, I think it still holds true.

2011 would be the year that Nintendo releases a new console. Besides, Nintendo already stated that they have no such plans for a "Wii HD" in 2010.

2005 - it was only about a year late. But I think part of that was so it could be simultaneously released for the Wii.

I have a feeling it'll be a gimick game of some sort or end up getting delayed like TP.

I'm holding my breath that it's a cel-shaded Zelda like TP was originally planned to be but Nintendo NA said "Cut that kiddy **** out."
