You don't go into debt using a debit card. The money comes right out of your bank account. Unless you meant credit card, which IS a debt card.


Read about this last night. Good deal for those whose RRoD'd 360s are past the warranty period. Other than that, who DOESN'T own an Xbox 360 that hasn't already purchased one?

My 360 red-ringed several months ago (right when I was 3/4 of the way through Grand Theft Auto IV) but I really don't feel like rushing out in this terribly ****ty Washington weather to get one. The refurbished price at gamestop is $130 and I've got a $20 card plus I know the price will drop by black Friday.

Shoot I might be able to pick up the Modern Warfare 2 bundle first day then turn around and sell it on eBay for a mint.

I bought a 360 last year, and if it wasnt for mass effect, I'd say it's easily the worst decision I've ever made as far as gaming goes. I have five games for it, and all but one of those were purchased shortly after I got the system. I don't play any of them anymore. Mass Effect 2 is the only thing on the way for the system that's keeping me from selling it.

As much as it sucks to own a PS3 because everyone else owns an Xbawks and it makes playing games with friends a lot harder, I will never buy one. There are like only, a few exclusives that I would want on it and most of which I can just pick up on Steam so I'm cool with my current setup.

I HAVE EVERY SYSTEM AND A GOOD GAMING COMPUTER

xbox and ps3 are neck and neck but i really like the xbox controller and xbox live so if a game is multiplatform i usually get it for xbox

The only thing I'd go out of my way to purchase on the 360 anymore is any good exclusive XBLA games. I was gonna get DJ Hero on the 360 to keep all my rhythm action games on one platform, but I opted for the PS3 version in case there are good DLC tracks in Europe that are not available in the U.S. Already have a EU account, and the PS3 is region free.

Other than the Dreamcast, the PS3 is the best purchase I've made for a console. I do not even play my 360 games anymore, and every time I turn it on, I'm always worried about getting a RRoD. That, to me, is not worth worrying about.

I went down there this morning to get their HDTV on sale.

But as I was waiting behind the line (they were only ringing up 360s and the laptops at the moment), the 360 line cleared up, and the guy was like, "Anyone else here for a 360?" I was tempted, I really was, but then I realized I had to buy games for it, and there are still PS3 games I need to buy...like Demon's Souls. There are still way too many games out there for me to play before I can consider getting a new console.

On a side note, once we formed our HDTV line, two assbutts cut in front of me and the guy ahead of me, and there were only two tvs there. It happened so fast, but we didn't say anything because the employees said they had ten tvs. I ended up getting it at another Walmart, but still. Chivalry dies once you cross into Walmart.

That's a nice deal, I got the same $100 gift card when I bought my PS3 at Walmart last year, I was pretty damn happy when they informed me I was getting the gift card, I didn't go there knowing about it. Yay Walmart!

I saw a commercial today saying that they're going to have the same 360 sale this Saturday. There's your second chance.
