    So bad its good!

I love horrible games. Its true. I get a strange kind of satisfaction from playing them. But even more then that, I love games that are so poorly made that they become even more fun than the original would have been. The most obvious example I can think of is Mercenaries II. The bugs in that game are hilarious, and me and my buddy spent several hours finding fun **** to pull.

I started this topic because I am currently downloading the demo for Fracture, which I heard was horrible. We shall see if it lives up to my expectations

Any other horrible demos on the PSN that you recommend downloading?

Eh, my definition of what's bad is vastly different from yours because Mercenaries 2 was average at best. I can't think of a single game that was so utterly vile I actually enjoyed it. Battlefield: Bad Company's demo was pretty fun but it seemed like the type of game that gets old the moment you get passed the initial level.

Doesn't really count, because it's not supposed to necessarily be good, but download the demo for Super Rub a Dub. It's really, REALLY cheesy, but not all that bad for like 10 minutes.

BF:BC is my game. I was in the top 7 thousand international for a while, out of over 550,000. Top 300 if you pare it down to my loadout.

But some people do tire of it, and that is fine. Personally, I like that it requires a bit more strategy than COD and the like, although I'm certainly not against COD.

Merc 2 was hilarious. If you want to know some amusing things to do in-game I can tell you some of the stuff we found.

Fracture wasn't quite as broken as I had hoped. I did find a great many "little" secrets and such, but the terraforming is too limited for much abuse, and the developers spammed invisible barriers at the edges of pretty much everything. I did get the opportunity to see objects spawn out of thin air, which is always fun That, a few sequence breaks, and several "not supposed to be here" areas, many of which were inescapable death traps.

          Dynasty Warriors would probably qualify.

The later Wild Arms might qualify for the same reason, since they have have retarded stories but really tight combat, and even the stories are retarded in exactly the ways you expected.

Okat I'm the only one who thinks that

I would say so, too. The series is mediocre as far as game elements are concerned. But hey, it's fun to take one chinese warrior to hack up 1000 others on a battlefield. Besides, I always thought the Three Kingdoms story was interesting.

I don't really think games qualify as "so bad it's good" status. maybe good games with horrible voice acting (Megaman Legends). but really I think that only applies to things like movies and music and books.

What it comes down to, is, what you're willing to put up with in order to enjoy the game on another level. But I'd never suffer through something with no redeeming qualities.

The closest thing I can think of is Rule of Rose. Loved the music and story... the gameplay, on the other hand, was horrible. I know this isn't what you are looking for, but what you ask is impossible so I will stick with this.

                        Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman.

gameplay is awkward as hell, and isnt deep at all. but the funny enemies, scenarios, and story made me play it anyways. and yes, I had fun. but the gameplay is horrible.

Ah, well in that case Okage: Shadow King. Terrible RPG on every level but the story, art style, and characters are fun.

It's sad. I can't get enoguh of these games. In fact I really want to get DW: Gundam 2 but y'know, not at that price. Giant robot hack n' slash? Yes please!

I enjoy just screwing around in games almost as much as actually playing them in a redeeming manner, even if nothing significant comes of my shenanigans

Although I did not enjoy Dark Cloud. I had heard good things so I picked it up used. I can only assume that the good things were directed at the sequel. Watching the ten minutes of cheesy dancers in the intro almost made me shut it off before I got to the gameplay.
