OMG! A CHECKLIST!!!
DONE:
--Create six towns
--Create placeholder enemies
--Create placeholder characters
--Create placeholder items
--Create enemy parties
--Decorate all buildings
--Set music for each city segment
--Make storytellers for Chapters 0 and 1.
NEED TO DO:
--Create storytellers for Chapters 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10.
--Create special storytellers
--Create all mission paths
--Create all skills
--Count the number of Guards I'll need and make all of them
--Balance my battle system (wah!)
--Create romance system
--Decide what attributes will be judged for trophies/endgame ranting
--Come up with several more puzzle ideas...
--Write text for every durn NPC under every condition that they same something different (up to twenty...)
--Make dungeons (i.e., puzzle rooms, sewers, tunnels)
--Make all dream realms
--Cry deeply.
I think that's it...I'll update this every few days, or at least every time I work on it.
October 12th edit: Past few days were spent on five storytellers, a puzzle (My first! And it worked first try!), and writing text for all the items. Many (re:all) of the items have relatively whimsical flavor text. I enjoyed writing it.
October 25th edit: Have been working, even if I neglected posting it. Mostly I've been ironing out a few puzzles I designed, many of which are actually fairly difficult. I'm writing another story in my spare time, so I haven't really had much enthusiasm for storytellers, but the game is nonlinear enough for me to fart around with something besides them.
November 7th edit: Mono sucks. Really drains your creative juices. However, I've managed to input all of the text for the first modes of the NPCs in two city segments. Only a tiny percent of the total text, but I think it will get easier since many of the little stories based around certain NPCs needed to actually be designed and laid out in their initial conversation lines. We shall see...
Percent DU: 39.7% (mood: um...I think it's all going to fit?)
