Re: The government stole my TV
And this is after the government extended the deadline 4 months because people didn't have the boxes before the original deadline in February. Yet, still a lot of procrastinators. Demand for the coupons was slow the last few months, then within the last few days, the demand spiked.Originally posted by Funk View PostTime to change the name of the country to the U.S.P.

Re: The government stole my TV
Yeah, I've had a box for about a year now. Some of the channels come in ok, but some don't. I don't care too much, because the worst two channels are the CBS and NBC affiliates, and I don't watch anything they have on anyway. Don't need them for news and weather because their news programs suck, and the ABC affiliate has always been better. One big problems is that some channels have fairly weak digitial signals. They used to have transformer stations for the people who couldn't pick up the main signal, but I don't know if there's any plans to do this with digital or if they'll just install stronger transmitters.Originally posted by Ωbright View PostWe got our converter box pretty soon after they became available.
Now, because of the 'cliff effect' inherent in digital signals, we have no TV either.
