Am I the only one mad at Bethesda? (Fallout3)

Maybe I'm making too much of a big deal about over a game that was released last year (October 28th, I believe) but the bugs in this game for the 360 are annoying beyond holy hell. Almost gives me a feeling like I'm playing Oblivion with the Fallout sticker. Don't get me wrong though, I'm enjoying it besides the occasional bug. I mean, every game's got something wrong with it as they are made by humanity. But as a die-hard Fallout fan I guess I had really high expectations of Bethesda...

AH....okay, pre-existing topic. Sorry bout that. I was looking at the ages of the topics and I forget what the "exact" rule on bumping a thread was. My bad.

Bethesda games have always been buggy as crap but I've hated them ever since Oblivion because the fans pretty much fix everything Bethesda refuses to acknowledge.

I know it just feels like their motto has been:

"Play testers? Screw that, let's just release it and the people who bought the game will tell us what's up."

I love Morrowind, Oblivion's okay, and Fallout 3 is fun...but the bugs are sometimes hard for me to get past. But that seems to be the company's problem I guess. Interplay wasn't perfect either, but I never had a problem with Fallout 1 crashing my PC for walking somewhere and random story-critical NPCs falling to their death from the sky for no reason .

I believe the current rule is if you bump any topic that dropped off the first page somebody will say "why didn't you just make a new topic." And if you make a new one someone will link to the old topic and say "why'd you make a new one." Also topics will be randomly merged without notice.

Eehhh....I've been told the opposite forever ago...but again, it was forever ago and didn't find it in the rules...of course....I've been operating with no sleep for about 30 hours, so...I'm kind of a out of it at the moment.

I was just joking. But that's usually what ends up happening.

I assume you've played the old Fallouts with the patches. Because if you played them as they were first released, then they too were unplayable. Hell, the best thing is to get a fan-made patch that corrects 800 bugs. That's 500 more fixes than the official patch- 500 that Interplay never even bothered correcting.

Every game always has a ton of bugs. The thing about Bethesda is that their games are really popular so more people find more bugs in it. Especially with Free-roam games. I've had more trouble with Saints Row 2 then I ever had with Fallout 3, even Infamous I have had a ton of bugs and glitches.

I think Bethesda gets to be the poster boy for buggy games, but a lot of games are glitchy as thier games now-a-days.

THAT many bugs?? Really? I noticed a quite a few in there dont get me wrong and I've played Fallout 1 & 2 backwards and forwards, and seen just about every possible combination of ending outcomes (the variable "fates" of the NPCs you encounter). I didn't say it wasn't perfect, all I said was I never had that problem. and maybe, I don't know the initial release of 1 had that problem. I'll look it up and see what I can gather. Thanks.

Remember when glitches gave you 221 pheonix downs? Ahhhh memories.
                              ...and that's why.
