Re: OFFICAL FALLOUT 3 THREAD
Yet another RPG to take over all my free time. Still got Oblivion and Two Worlds waiting to be finished.
And Star Ocean 3, for that matter.Last edited by MRevelle83; 10-24-2008, 10:41 PM.

Re: OFFICAL FALLOUT 3 THREAD
Bethesda shot themselves in the foot regarding the toolset as I was looking forward to getting this on the PC.
Oblivion was nearly unplayable with mods and while Fallout 3 doesn't suffer from the stupid leveled monsters/shoot yourself in the foot skill system, it would still be 100% better with mods.
Uh... yeah, 4 days.

It's just not coming out with the editor, I am sure they will realease it at a later date.Originally posted by marcus View PostBethesda shot themselves in the foot regarding the toolset as I was looking forward to getting this on the PC.

I dunno you think it's kind of a bad business practice to release a tool that lets people do what Bethesda could otherwise charge 4$ for.Originally posted by Red Dragon View PostIt's just not coming out with the editor, I am sure they will realease it at a later date.

Uh... yeah, 4 days..Originally posted by Penny ArcadeThis is why Microsoft doesn't want to get within ten miles of this **** - user contributions are circumscribed. I don't agree with that, siding instead with the incredible creative power of the human spirit, but it's not hard to understand their position. Fallout 3 - unlike Morrowind and Oblivion - isn't shipping with mod tools, officially because they weren't in the schedule. But when the ESRB re-rated Oblivion - a currently shipping game - based on a user mod, you have to wonder why they would put themselves in that position.

Re: OFFICAL FALLOUT 3 THREAD
Regarding Oblivion's new rating which didn't take into effect until a month or so after the game was out, it was because nipples and stuff were in the original graphics.
This is the same thing regarding San Andreas. It doesn't matter if the user can't access it without hacking, it's the fact that it's in their in the first place. If Little Big Planet was suddenly discovered to have white power propaganda and pictures of mass graves hidden in a file that can only be viewable during the full moon on a friday the 13th it will be rated M.
