          Terrific trailer.

I've been wondering where Chris Cooper disappeared to.

Oh, wait...I've known for the past 2+ years that he was working on this. Never mind.

Man, now I need to dig through all my childhood books and read this again. It's been so long that I entirely forgot what it was about.

                  Cliff's Notes version:

Kid is sent to bed without dinner.
Kid imagines monsters who teach him life lessons.
Kid opens bedroom door at end and finds dinner waiting for him.
                  The End.

I've not read this in about 30 years myself. F***, is that a long time.

Man, that trailer looks ****ing KICKASS. Is that sum Stan Winston special effects I see? Real aninmatronic suits and faces? Its gotta be.

I friggin love the book, and it comes out 3 days before my birthday. WOOOOOOOOOOO!

This trailer makes me wish I was a kid again. Watching him run around in his wolf costume makes me giddy.
                      ...and that's why.

I watched the trailer about a billion more times. Something about it sees so sad. Maybe its the music. God it looks amazing!

At first the title didn't ring a bell. Then half way through the trailer it hit me. That seems so familar... OH MY GOD IT IS! ITS THAT BOOK! I feel all warm and toasty inside. Somebody hold me.

So no one saw this movie?

I dunno! I was pretty ambivalent towards it after watching. It was certainly pretty and there were moments of greatness but overall...I dunno. Something felt off. It was kinda boring :V

Actual quote after leaving the theatre:

Guy: "I dunno it was kinda slow"
Girl: "Well it was a 10 page book how fast could they have made it?"

                            I facepalmed so hard.

Also I loved how in the trailer for The Fantastic Mr. Fox the nicest critic quote they could get was pretty much "It's a cartoon not by Pixar"

Well. Hope you enjoy it more than I did, pavilion!

I'm going Wednesday to see it or something. I dunno. I'm hearing very mixed things about it. general consensus is that it's boring though.
