So apparently they're making a Johnny Quest movie. And as if that wasn't bad enough guess who's starring in it.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Race Bannon and Zac "The F**" Efron as Johnny Quest.



I'm glad I was never a fan of JQ or I'd be even more ****** at the continued raping of our collective childhoods.

Well there's the matter of him being the wrong color. Then again, I didn't think Michael Clarke Duncan made a good Kingpin!!!

I think he was just older. Or maybe his hair was naturally white (like it is in some cartoons).

Some people have naturally white hair when they hit their forties like Steve Martin and the guy who hosts family feud.

The Rock isn't that dark. It's not like Will Smith playing a white guy in I Am Legend (who was Slovakian in the book, I believe). The Rock has potential to be a good action star (The Rundown) although recent movies like Doom and Walking Tall have ruined his image for me.

As far as Effron goes... I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think Highschool Musical ruined his image but he's not a terrible actor. The only films I've seen him in was a small part in Firefly and his voice performance as Billy Joel in Robot Chicken which was hilarious.

But yeah this movie is going to be as good as Speed Racer.

His name is Dwayne Johnson, get it straight!

Venture Brothers is a parody of Johny Quest, if that helps any. Actually, Johny Quest and other characters from that series make some cameos on The Venture Brothers.

you didn't even see the one from the 90s? man, they had some sweet toys for that show. and part of it was in 3D. wasn't it just released on DVD or something?
