Most useless thing you have ever bought

came across this article this morning...

The Top 20 Most Useless Items

    1. Electric nail files
    2. Laser guided scissors
    3. Electric candles
    4. Soda stream (a product that lets you make your own pop at home)
    5. Foot spas
    6. Fondue set
    7. Hair crimpers
    8. Egg boiler
    9. Electric fluff remover
    10. Electric carving knife

    11. Trouser press
    12. Face steamers
    13. Teas made
    14. Mini disk player
    15. Facial tanners
    16. Egg slicer
    17. Electric tin openers
    18. Yoghurt makers
    19. Towel warmer
    20. Back scratcher

My family owns an electric carver and love it, and had an electric can opener too. Although we had to have a back up opener in case the power went out.

My sisters and I owned a crimper, and yeah, retro there but we still used it.

I agree with fondue sets, I got one for Christmas 3 years ago and haven't opened it. Also, yesterday I was walking home and saw a delapitated foot spa on the curb for the garbage man, so I agree there.

    Thoughts?

Edit- I also want to add to the list that wax dipping kit from about 7 years ago. I have never owned one but thought it pointless. Basically, you would melt a bar of wax in something that looked like a slow cooker. Then dip a body part (Hand, foot, elbow) in the vat of wax and coat it. Once it dries, you remove the layer of wax and that body part is softer. Here's the thing. The company recommended placing the wax shell BACK IN THE VAT and reuse it over and over again. Ewww, stewing your own skin flecks. How much time would someone have to melt that bar everytime?

I don't eat eggs, but as for the back scratcher, a hairbrush works better, so why waste money on something not realy needed?

Also that lil hand at the end of the pole always reminded me of the infamous monkey paw story ha ha

When I have an itch, I want relief fast. Nothing like those bristles works best.

Ghetto is rubbing against a tree like a bear.

You complain about skin flakes in hot oil, but getting dead skin in your hairbrush is fine?

Most useless thing that my uncle bought was a fajita maker, for my mom.
It's a George Foreman grill with a place to warm the tortillas. come on.

The most useless thing I ever bought was the game "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists Of The Roses". I used to play it, but then it was boring and useless so I threw it out my window like a frizbee

I think it's a tie between Wrestlemania! and Deadly Towers for the NES. Every few years I'll dust them off, play for about 2 minutes, and then toss them back into the corner.

I paid roughly $1.99 for each game.

OH YEAH. There's some "amazing virtual sea monkeys" playstation game that a family member gave me as a joke gift. I've never played it.
