    Need help understanding variables

Hey, could some of you help me understand variables in RPG Maker 3? (I can't believe I'm actually asking for help on RPGM 3...) I recently bought RPGM 2 and while I understand some of it, I have yet to figure out how to use variables in that game (I honestly almost got a headache trying to understand the menu variables). I used them very little in RPGM 3, therefore I understand them very little. With some time I could probably figure out variables in RPGM 3, but I kind of want to get working on RPGM 2.

How did you get 157 posts without figuring out how variables work in RPGM3? Without reading a single FAQ on the subject or testing them out? What, did you post in the non-RPGM forums a few hundred times before you started using the parts this site was actually made for?
Ashen: What do we even know about these guys?
Val: For one, they're addicted to cliches. Of all the people they could've kidnapped, they decided to take the one adolescent girl in the village. It's just like the storybooks.

Nope, never read a FAQ, like ever. Not only that but it has been a long time since I played RPGM 3, I kind of lost interest in it. Anyway, I really need help.

Use the search feature, and include the word "variables"....you'll find a wealth of information at your fingertips.

I think I figured out how to use variables in RPGM 3, so I'm pretty much done with this (though I might ask more question about this subject later on). Thanks for the help, guys.

Yeah Maldeus, if you don't have anything worthwhile to contribute to a thread just don't post in it.

If you need some additional help with variables, like specific questions or whatever, feel free to contact me on Yahoo or AIM(my contact info is in my profile)...But that link Seraph provided should be all you need.
