The game takes place in the Northern part of Koralia.
Koralia was an average continent, until a dragon appeared on the tallest peak of Mt. Hochi.
People thought they were... well doomed, but the people who lived closest to Mt. Hochi had a secret. They had supernatural abilities but they led a quiet life fearing the rest of Koralia would fear them. Of course, they couldn't just sit back, so they fought the dragon and killed it at the mountain.
The normal citizens did what a normal citizen would do. They formed a mob and attacked the "demonic citizens" that "summoned" the dragon. The "demonic citizens", in order to protect the normal citizens from themselves, formed a giant shield that cut the northern part of Koralia, with Mt Hochi and it's closest citizens away from the world. As the years passed, they lived a quiet, secluded life among themselves, without knowing what was happening at the other side of the shield.

In this part if Koralia, each citizen's ability can be classified in 3 types

The shifters are people who are able to change into animals or other creatures, and they focus their attacks using their animal features. These attacks are mostly physical in nature

Elementalists can control a particular aspect of nature, and they focus their attacks using that as a weapon. (Fire elementalists can throw fireballs, for example) These attacks are mostly ranged in nature (and could be seen as the typical magic attacks)

Enhancers are people with a special kind of "energy." This energy is concentrated in a specific body part, and can manifest in different ways, usually strengthening that body part, and giving the person supernatural strength, or super speed.
They focus this energy to attack.

Each of these types draws their power from a different source

Fera source: Shifters draw their power from this source, as the name implies, this source awakens the feral instincts in shifters, sometimes making them act like the animal they can shift into. It also makes them to live the most socially awkward moments in history

Natura source: Elementalists draw their power from this source. It is this source that allows them to manipulate an aspect of nature to their will

Energeia source: Enhancers draw their power from this source. It allows them to gather and concentrate extra energy into their "Strong point"

Fera is strong against Energeia, but weak against Natura
Natura is strong against fera, but weak against Energeia
Energeia is strong against Natura, but weak against Fera

THE TOWN OF PORICO
Entrance area: A small area preceding the main residence area. Some of the newer citizens have built their home in this place. Zain, the elven lumberjack has taken the charge of building homes for other creatures, like mermaids and fairies. As the game progress (and if system data space allows it ), even more houses might pop out here.

Residence area: The name says it all. This area consist of most of the citizens houses. Bill's house included. I tried giving each house an unique look (at least on the inside) There's a particularly special house that you can only enter after meeting some conditions (which are not too hard to meet or miss)

Farm area: Just a small farm run by 2 cousins, both of them shifters (Can turn into a specific animal) Currently I'm trying to figure out what to do with it (There's already an story event where you have to help one of the cousins to get all the runaway animals, but I want to integrate something else to the farm)

School area: This were Mrs Joanna (Or Jo for short) teaches the kids about all kind of stuff (what else?). You can usually see Ada the fairy trying to get "human knowledge"
Jo will probably be the "tutorial" lady

Zane's mansion: Residence of one of the most powerful element manipulators. Since his disappearance. The mansion is being kept by his maid, which is also now in charge of his granddaughter now that he is missing.

Spade Manor: Residence of Jason Spade and his daughter Kiara. They are in charge of keeping Porico secure. so they receive a lot of requests from most citizens. In this area you will find Zoke's Hut, where you can buy miscellanies stuff; Coop, the Garden Dwarf and Sarah, the blind librarian. Here you'll get to read (and play as) other citizens adventures as you find the appropriate book.

The Plaza: Here you will find Martha's cafe. Her food is so good that it even replenishes HP, mp and cures status. There are a lot of tables outside the cafe, and you'll usually see a family or couple enjoying the fresh air while eating.

The playground: A secret area, where the kids gather to play on their free time. Here you'll be able to play with the kids and get prizes

The castle: Residence of the royal family. There's the interior of the castle and (in the works) courtyard. The royal family might make look Vet (the homeless guy that blows everything out of proportion, context and everything else you can imagine) like a sane person.

SOME OF THE CITIZENS
William Bell
Age: 28

The... "hero" of the story, called Bill by everyone. Despite not having any abilities like the rest, he manage to live a good life, even marrying the girl of his dreams, a Fire Elemetalist called Jessica.
Bill was entrusted with the powers of ancient warrior to do something he's not too sure of yet. But he knows it has to do something with a Dragon.
He's eager to go into action, even if he ends up regretting it seconds later.

Jessica Bell
Age: 26
Jess is the Fire elementalist Bill married. She is usually an overly cheery person and very curious. When something burns down, all fingers point at her, but she claims she is innocent of each incident.

Mintara Trimber
Age: 19

A young shifter who hates her name, so everybody calls her Mint. And like most shifters, she tends to act like the animal she can morph to on occasions. She runs the farm in Porico, until all her animals runs away.

Larry Starx
Age 25

Larry is Bill's closest neighbor and good friend. Life as a a shifter and newlywed has been though for him, since his tendencies to destroy her wife's shoes with his teeth has led to many fights, where sparks where seen (which wouldn't be too surprising considering her wife can control lightning)
He's very laid back, but he doesn't hesitate to take action to help his closest friends.

The kids of Porico:

Genetra Flint:
Age: 9

Gina is a very curious girl, and granddaughter of a wealthy man and elementalist called Zane. She loves her grandfather, but she spends most of the time with the house maid.
When her grandfather disappears, she embarks on a quest to find him at all costs. Usually she get things her way, either by outsmarting adults, or by overpowering them with her supernatural strength.

Stuart and Stanley Powers
Age 8

These young twins are the President and vice president of the Secret Playground, and sons of Martha and Zoke Powers. While identical in looks their abilities are vastly different. Stu can summon monsters (apparently only goblins) while Stan can transform into a rock. (which he says is a sucky ability compared to his brother's)
Whenever they are a their playground, they are usually playing Hide and Seek

Mr. Gibbles
Age 6

Mr. Gibbles is the first goblin Stu summoned, and has been his constant companion ever since.

Tabhita Hubbell
Age 7 months

A baby girl with an mind so developed, that she could formulate thoughts by the fetal stage. She questioned the meaning of life since then, and when she was born, she was already fed up with it. By the 5th month, she developed the ability to talk telephatically, but many people doesn't really notice it's her and think they are having waves of negative thoughts when they are around her.

Places of Koralia

Leafy Forest
Just your typical, mystical forest. Slimes, spiderbugs and Leafy Ladies are the residents if this forests. There's also a hideout above the forest that is supposed to have important information, but Bill must first pass some trials that would put the APA on edge in order to open the path to the floating cave,

The Pillar factory
The pillar factory used to be a very lively, busy place many years ago, but after somebody blocked the exit, all the employers starved to death, and now it's a ruin infested with the spirits, zombies and skeletons of underpaid workers, part timers, maintenance crew and quality control staff. Some angry assistant managers seem to be hiding in select spots, usually in front of a valuable treasure.
Will Bill be able to put these spirits to rests by placing the pillars in their rightful places?

Viken Von Vrom
Age: deceased

Viken Von Vrom was a famous sculptor centuries ago. His statues were so popular that a Pillar Factory hired him to release the latest models of pillars. Then he got stuck on the factory and died of starvation.

Ivette Feroz
Age: 17

The daughter of King Leon Feroz. Shiny armors are her weakness, so she's usually flirting with the royal knights. The garden in the Castle's backyard is a product of her abilities as an elemtalist.

The castle's backyard
A maze of flowers and trees made by the lovely princess Ivette for the past 10 years. Bill must avoid guards, assist the princess, and guide a fairy away from doom in the most awkward and massive rescue mission ever seen in Porico.
