    Why is 110lbs so heavy?!

I've been lifting wieghts on and off for last few months to get buff, and get to da choppah. Ive had 75lbs on the barbell, and 10 reps with it is no problem. So I went and bought 2 25lb weights to rearrange the bar and thought, LOL BUMP IT UP TO 100LBS ITLL BE EASY. The bar weighs 10lbs, so its to 110lbs total.

I can do 1 rep, then I gotta rest for like 15 seconds.

That is a steep weight increase, yes. You should go up 5-10 pounds, whatever is comfortable as long as you can do so without sacrificing form. A general guideline (training programs differ) is if you can't complete 10 reps while maintaining good form its too heavy and your muscles would benefit more from a downsize.

The appropriate question though, would be how much you weigh.

Following that, what somatype you are and what your goal is (besides gain. How much and in what desired timeframe). Following that, what your diet is like and what supplements you use if any...

Yeah, Im gonna take some weight off of it. I want to be able to do at least 10 reps.

I dont have a plan setup for meals, and pills and protein powder and all that crap. I just work out a few times a week and add more weight when it gets too easy. Im pretty laid back about it.

You took 25lbs off of the original 75 right? Cause two 25's is actually 50.

I lift an almost 12 pound boy 1,000,00 times a day. The heavier he gets, the better my arms look.

Ive got a variety of smaller weights that I had heaped on to get it up to 75lbs. Then I got 2 new 25lbs. So I can mix and match and rearrange them to get whatever weight I want on there.

You to find a strong girl that has enough muscle for both of you, and has her way with you since you cant do anything to stop her.

I just bought a pull up bar... I've been sore for a week straight.

And today, a girl is taking me to yoga.... I'm probably going to die.

Keep up the workout though, lookin' sexy naked is the difinition of having your cake and eating it too.

working out, sexy, cake, and eating look more like an oxymoron.

i miss my muscles, but ill get them back someday.

crunk, was the 75 including the bar weight? you increased the weight by 50% which was major overkill. do you have a spotter just in case you get in over your head and cant get it back on the rack?

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!

I do about 140 pounds last time I checked.

Around 12-13 reps for strength training.

I plan on getting to 200+, but yeah, I am too busy lately.

Just go up slowly you'll make it to 110 in no time.
