    My Game!

    Hey Guys! First thing I wanna say is sorry that so many of my topics are going around right now but I just have ALOT of questions!

    Anyways my game is only in the early writing & scripting stages so it's not fully developed yet but this what I have so far:

    THE BOOK OF LIFE

    Basically, You start out as a solder of the EVIL Lord Cohlianis Empire . (Although hes not the rightful heir to the kingdom he simply conquered it) After finally realising that it had been foolish of you to join it as a boy seeking glory in battle you defect and with a band of friends escape from Lord Cohlianis grasp. You then try to stifle his effort to tighten his grasp on your country. Through the course of your story you find out that Lord Cohliani is working with Mad Scientists , Sorcerers , And even The Occult to gain more power! The story all leads up to the giant climatic battle that will decide the fait of your people.

    NOTE: This is only part one of the series so there will still be more to come!

    PS: I will PROBABLY be able to load it up for you guys to play but I don't have a Max Drive yet................... Do you guys suggest anything for use other than a Max Drive?

        It's not bad, it's just... well, the word "evil" will automatically disinterest me. Why is he evil? What IS evil?

          Well as you play the game (Or read the book I'm writing along with it) you'll see that hes cruel to the people, has crazy taxes, does evil things to gain more power, and shows all the other common traits of an "Evil" ruler...........

              Why? If it's a plot spoiler, there's spoiler tabs for that. Use the button with "SP" on it.

                I would love to comment on this it's just that theres really not much to comment on.

                The one thing I'll say is how can you try to help your own country if you just left his??? You said the main character was on his side since a child wouldn't that have become his country? I don't really understand that.

                Anyway if you post more on it I'll tell you what I think, but until then I'm not going to say anything because I get the feeling I'm missing something.

                  Why are you making an epic RPG after we advised you not to, we did that for a reason...we are not telling you not to however, so dont think we are...

                  I doubt seriously this will get finished, for the simple fact that youll get bored with it long before its done.

                  You have no idea the limitations RPGM3 has, you have this grand idea in your head and half of it will end up not working out in the end because of constraints, I know this from experience.

                  Im not trying to dissuade you, but make sure you know how the game works fully before putting a full-epic RPG in the works

                  By the way, with a few better picked words, this could sound like an interesting story

                    No.................... Let me explain............... You lived in the country all of your life. (I haven't thought up a name yet, but I think it will be Gileinor)..................... Lord Cohliani took over the country............. You thought he was good............. You joined his army...................... You realise hes bad........... You defect and go into hiding. (You are still in the same country)................ You then proceed to fight his forces........etc.................etc................etc...............

                      And by the way: Of course I don't plan on making this as soon as I get the game! This is just "THE EARLY WRITING STAGES" I haven't even found names for everyone yet!!!!!!!

                        I had a game similar to this. Only, you figure out what you're really fighting for over the course of the game.

                            It's not bad, it just has a few (well, one that catches my eye) classic stereotype: The Pure Evil Villain.

                            But if you have the skill, then you might just turn it into a good, no, great game.

                              Nobody ever said it was bad. We just need more info. You should try and find the thread about selling your game. I was going to put a link but couldn't find it. Nobody can say your game is either good or bad because we honestly don't know anything about it.
