ive tried to make a game on rpg maker 3! like 4 times but i cant just do it so im taking the next step






but do i really have to learn c++?

Well, why would you need to learn C++, then? And if you couldn't make a game with RM3, don't try to make one with RM2.

RPGM2 doesn't use programming codes. It uses menus just like the other RPG Makers. Just that there's a lot more menu work this time around, and a lot more things to learn.

I wanna see you put SOMETHING out with RPGM3, no matter how good or bad it is, before I can recommend you switching to RPGM2.

If I had to take a guess, I'd guess that he meant it's too limiting for him and he can't create anything good with all those limits.

But that's just a guess.
