As some of you may know (at least if you've ever payed attention to my signature), I had a Development Studio at RPGM Magazine for about two years. The studio had previously been open to even non-registered users. So until now, I felt there was no real reason to create a Game Forum equivalent here. But due partly to a couple spambots hitting my studio a couple weeks back, I had it set back to registered members only, so I figure I should probably get myself a Game Forum here to make up for it. (Yes, that's pretty much the only reason I'm doing so.) I'll be copying some of my stickies over here shortly, assuming nothing comes up.
Anyway, I figure one or two of you might be interested in my progress with [game which shall not be mentioned by name] since my demo's release. Well, for starters, Mt. Shela doesn't look bland, anymore. 'Cept for that demolitions room, but it can't be helped, what with the 120-event-limit and how I can only create scenery objects on sample maps through events. Also, I finished the last scene of Benld (the demo cut it off just short) and quickly added two more cutscenes and am 80% through another. Quickly, because I figure I'll be able to come back to the scenes later on and better see how to make them good and character personalities consistant. Not to mention I'll be able to see if I have enough memory for a game this size without putting too much potentially wasted effort into it.
