Anormia is not cancelled.
I am not dead.
I may have been had Valk not checked in on me a few days ago.
I was approaching suicidal, and him IMing me did wonders.
I owe him a great deal of thanks for that.

I'll explain this entire situation to you all perhaps as I grow more used to the fallout from it in my life.

Those of you who are close friends of mine or who care about me may feel free to IM me.

But let me repeat:
Anormia is not canceled.

Moreover, we're currently accepting applications (a friendly 'omg yes I want in' would do) to help out with it.
Knowledge of RPG Maker XP is a plus but not required if all you're doing is art.
All positions are available. At this point I'm still doing it all myself, other than concept art.

This is not me begging.
Rather, I know that in the past, several of you (regulars, mostly) who are familiar with the game have asked to help. In the past, I had declined, thinking that I could handle this entirely myself.

I cannot code an entire 40+ hr game myself AND do the art for it AND do the music for it.

Help wanted.

oh and concept art round one is up:
those of you who are familiar with the anormia legacy may not even know these characters, but until this point they had been fairly minor. Regardless, their artwork is up:

edit:
Valk, would you mind changing the subtitle of this board to 'Az *will* finish this game.'?

Looking forward to this. In the future, I hope the Mag can cover it. :D

I was starting to worry about you Pandable. It has been a while since we've seen you around, I was starting to think the worst. I'm so glad Valk checked in on you... It would have been quite the loss if you ended your life. While I don't always see eye to eye with you, I have a lot of respect for you. Well anyways, glad to see you are alive and kick'n. Looking forward to Anormia! :D

I'd like to help, but no XP. Any chance of coding without it? I can learn code. :D

Hey man! I was wondering what happened to you. I'm sorry you've been feeling down, and I'm glad you're back!

I've just had a look at your concept art. Koka and Vikoka look truly awesome. I'm not kidding...the composition of that picture looks flawless, and the whole thing is rendered very professionally.

If I can help with enemy sprites or maptiles, just let me know. You might want to send me a chipset though, so I can use it as a template because I don't have XP.

Hito, I'll see what we can do about your situation.
Obright, your offer is gladly accepted - and thanks for the compliments, I'll pass them along to Hito (err, the other hito, my girlfriend - she doesn't come here), who drew them. I'll be in communication soon with you about tiling and that sorts of things.

To Jamos and Ixion, thanks for your well wishes. I wasn't quite ready to kill myself - I... have serious doubts as to my ability to do that anyway - but I was letting life overwhelm me. The kind of overwhelming where you don't go to class or work in two weeks and barely get out of bed.

Man, depression is an ass.

Thanks again, guys.

Panda, you should really give me a nickname other than hito so you can talk about your girlfriend easier. :lol
