I just saved over my entire file that was at 18% Three towns, a five level dungeon, and a full puzzle was lost. I was talking on the phone and instead of loading it from a blank database, I saved over it. over 20 hours of work...I am a ****ing idiot.
So, I am stuck with two towns, a field, and a crappy dungeon I made the first month I had it.
It's gonna take a while to get it back, but I'll keep you posted.

Oh man, that's horrible!!
Well, lots of people on here can relate to some degree I'm sure. When I was working on my RPG Maker 1 game a few years ago, I lost about thirty hours of work. At that point, you just wish that the Playstation had an "undo" button.
Well, Libra, you've got the game in your head. It's just a matter of cranking it out again. Sorry about that. That really stinks!!

yeah, that sucks.
I keep two back-ups of mine, which I update often. One on another memory card and one on a maxdrive.
I'm sure the beginning parts of your game will be even better when you redo them. It usually works that way.
yeah Ive done a similar thing, thats why I save it on 2 memory cards everytime I go to save
sorry to hear about the misfortune:(
think of it as a chance to improve it more though

Thanks for everyone's support. Deceptions actually is getting slowly back on track, and it allowed me to remake my main field, which was not quite what I wanted it to be. Now I feel I have a much more workable field, even though the layout is a bit diffrent. I've dropped from the origional 18% Usage rate to about 12, but I'm confident that I'll be able to get it back up to where I was in about a week. Thanks again for all the support. This time is is going to be better..:D I promise.

1) OUCH......I feel your pain, believe me. I lost about 2 months worth of work on SotT at one point...no fun at all. I'm glad it's recovering so well!

Hey Libra,
Just a quick question. Does your recent interest in starting a game for RPG Maker 2 mean that you aren't going to be creating this one for 3, or is it on hold, or are you working on both of them on and off? I have RPG Maker 2, so I'm not saying that I'm against the game for 2. Just wondering about DiD:W. :)

I think it's mostly my recent interest in RPGM2. I think the world I have for the new game is solid, but the plot is so empty and cliche that I probably am going to give it up until I can come up with something a bit more comprehensive. I'm so personally horrible about coming up with stuff like that.
I'll most likely be going back to the game within the week, I just haven't decided yet. :D
