So it doesn't show up. I'm not black. I still think it's offensive because I know people who feel very strongly about using it.

The official answer I get is we'd have to ban all the racial slurs. I say deal with each one as it comes up.

That's my beef. If nobody cares and this topic dies then I'll let it slide.

You're all for "******" getting censored, but you have a problem with all racial slurs being filtered. This is why the staff is ignoring you on this issue.

I think most people here are not big enough idiots to use that word, anyway, but if it became a problem, I'd be for censoring it.

Edit: The same goes for other racial slurs, if they were used. I don't see any problem with filtering words that can only be used in the context of senseless hate.

I'm not against censoring other racial slurs. I'm against the staff's stance of all or none when it prevents action. It's a slippery-slope fallacy.
