    Monster Party!!!

    Anyone remember that game for NES?

    This is the latest flash animation from the Something Awful flash tub. It's a lovely dose of nostalgia, and it's hilariously accurate (aside from the random character appearances).

    This makes me giggle so much.

    Keen formatting, Bandai. XD
    Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
    I had no idea how beautiful you were.

      That's pretty funny. But I've never played the game! ; ;

      I thought this part of the review for the actual game amusing as well:
      "Oh yeah, and the music sounds like a robot trying to sh!t out a pan flute while falling down a well."

        It's awesome. The game starts out all happy-go-lucky. The trees, nay, even the blocks are smiling. Then after a few screens the game goes crazy. Everything starts to bleed from their eyeballs and such. I have no clue how the game ever got released. Probibly, the Nintendo censors didn't play past the first screen before giving it the A-okay.

            I have that game, and loved every second of it.

            I really enjoyed the dancing zombies, and if you try attacking them, you die. The only way to get pass them is to watch them dance till they stop.

              It certainly was a wild game to play! What kills me is that I was allowed to play it when I was ten. I guess my parents didn't seem to notice what kinds of games I rented. I bought the cartridge from a flea market a few years ago, so I play it occasionaly. :d

              I love the bubble-shooting plant boss that says "Hello, baby!" when you walk into the room, and the giant fried food boss is just hilarious. Can you imagine being crushed to death by a huge rampaging onion ring? Gotta love the creativity here.

              Edit: Speaking of that giant fried food...

              Note that Mark is not always so hideously colored, he's flashing because he got hit.

                  I'm not really sure. o_o I was thrilled to come across it at the flea market, but I'm not sure how easy it is to find.

                  I'd say you should check ebay. *nod*

                  That one ends in five hours! XD Act fast! It's like $3!
