I downloaded RMXP at school today and saved it on my flash drive to bring home. But my computer is below the minimum requirements. Processor is 755 MHz not 800 and I have 128 MB of RAM but 8 is blocked for the integrated graphic system. Also I can't set my monitor to any resolution other than 800 x 600. I used to be able to until I reformatted my hard drive. I think I don't have the correct display drivers anymore. Anyway, with these problems is it even worth a shot to install RMXP?

Re: Should I even try?
I've run XP on a 400mhz computer with a 8MB video card and 128 MB of ram. (my dad's computer) it didnt run PERFECTLY, but it ran at a usable speed. since you have a better processor than that computer, it might run just fine as long as you're careful about not overloading each map with hundreds of events.
so I'd say you can probably run it. its a good thing they released the trial version, as its a great way to see if your PC is up to spec despite their "minimum requirements".Last edited by Valkysas; 09-17-2005, 12:36 AM.

Re: Should I even try?
I got the monitor problem straightened out and changed the resolution. RMXP is running fine. Yay! If I can figure it out enough to do anything with it I'll go ahead and purchase, otherwise I'll wait but I plan to buy it eventually either way since I already came up with a couple games I want to make on it.Last edited by DarkwingChuck; 09-20-2005, 02:33 PM.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!
