Videogamedrome Screenshots & Video Demo! MPEG format

This is to be testing me new Video Capture Device-A-Ma-Jig.

It is just the opening cartoon from Videogamedrome, but it has a few things people always want to see like a Space Station, Rocket Ship, Floating Head, TV Set, and more.

I'm curious to know how it looks on other people's machines. I have a crappy video card and a cheap-o capture device, but I can make this quality video at any time now that I have a slightly better PC at my disposal.

Feel free to post what you think.

    Or not.

Here is a link to the video.

    http://bovofluf.sky.prohosting.com/demo1.zip

<>EDIT<> It is a 17. 1 Mb zip folder with a 54 Mb .mpg file inside... sorry if that seems large... it's my first time doing this and I am unsure what is a good size yet)<>

Below are a few screen shots (OK, 6... I got carried away). My monitor is wacky and everything looks very dark. I hope it is just this monitor...

    Thanks for your interest.

    Peace.

I've seen the video and I must say I am very impressed.

When I get time I'll check out the demo.

Does that mean you got my Videodrome reference? I originally intended to parallel that movie, but it went in another direction.

            Thanks for the positive comments.

I'll make a battle system video if interest exists. The character was easy to put in battle as it was just a visual effect.

And with no password on the demo it can be used as a learning tool as well.

I finished the Hangman mini-game and am still having trouble with the Debuggerred mini game, but will get it working.

            More updates to come...

            Peace.

I'm interested, to say the least.

Great video. I played the demo which I don't know if it was the updated version you put up or the old one. The game was interesting. I liked how there was about 500 times more killing than talking, LOL.

Ask and ye shall receive (or something like that...).

Here is a temporary link to the battle system video.

                  http://bovofluf.sky.prohosting.com/battledemo.zip

It is just the second half of the posted video where YOU storms CNN (the Castle News Network) to get a press pass so he can enter Congress and stop voting on Proposition 7734 (plug 7734 in to a pocket calculator, turn it upside down and look at the display!).

I never gave the Border Guard any real stats so don't expect much of a challenging fight, just a demo of some of what exists in terms of abilities and such.

Once again, for ease of downloading, it is compressed. This time we have a 75 MB file in a 27 MB Zip Folder.

Nobody complained about file size last time, so I just used the rest of what I captured over the holiday. If this one's too big, speak up!!

I hope to get a video of the newer non-weapon forms up this weekend (2 bugs and a secret form I guess I should leave out... gotta save something! Play the mini games in the new demo, one of them awards a new form while another uses one of the bug forms) (my capture device-a-ma-jig is still newish and I need to play with it to find out all it can do. If anybody cares it is a "Dazzle Digital Video Creator 80" and I found it on sale for $65 and with a $30 rebate, so the thing only cost about $35 (plus tax on $65). I have paid more than that for some DVDs! It is not the best quality, but it sure is affordable and it does a lot more stuff too.

                  Peace.

OK, I'm gearing up for some screenshot and mpg file work for other people tomorrow and as practice made a quick update for this topic.

                          Dig those Crazy Bugger Bugs!

And here they are in action:

I like them, anyhow. The one that YOU becomes is interactive in the Battle System.

                          Peace.

Here is the clip titled "Demo1"

                              http://s61.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2...G35DYM0XLV3CSD

And here is the "Battle Demo"

                              http://s61.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1...A0ATJZW48OTGWE

Those free sites just can't handle the bandwidth of decent mpg files. I can renew these yousendit temporary links whenevr people ask, so don't be shy if you want to see these but the links expired.
