10% Discount code for RPG Maker XP and VX

Are you thinking about buying any of the PC RPG Makers? If so, want to save some money on them? Use the promo code "facebook" to save 10% on anything on this page.

Also, we've joined Enterbrain's affiliate program, so if you buy RPG Maker XP or RPG Maker VX through our referral links, we'll get a 30% commission on each sale. The money from that will only be used for the RPG Maker Pavilion, either for contest prizes, upgrades, or our server bill. Our referral links are below.

    RPG Maker XP - $29.99

    RPG Maker VX - $59.99

KumoShinagi has informed me the promo code doesn't work with the affiliate links, so keep that in mind when deciding where to buy it from.

I bought XP from the affiliate. I'll help this place out.

And also it does not prompt for the promo code.

Do we have referral links for IG Maker? I'm still planning on picking it up at some point now that they dropped the price, and I'd prefer to do it linked from the Pav if possible.

What justifies the thirty dollar price hike for VX?

VX is newer. It has yet to drop in price, unlike XP. That's all.

Personally, I don't like VX. XP is my preferred PC RPG Maker.

VX has strict tileset limitations, and some pretty squatty graphics.

I suggest checking out the free 30 day trials for both before making a purchase. You can get those here.

Quick question...does anyone know if this change of providers for XP has also changed the "reinstall" restrictions? If i had to reformat my pc, or wanted to install on my desktop AND laptop, i had to submit some kind of email request to be able to reactivate the software. Has that changed at all? I really dont want to deal with that cumbersome issue even one more time.

Or why cant i just purchase a physical copy of the software, so that i dont have to worry about that the next time i have to reinstall?

Does anyone know if XP will run in Windows 7 64bit, the page says not supported, but doesnt say wont work...

I have no idea. I'll try and find out.

Yeah, after posting that i decided to download the trial, and it works fine for me. So as long as i dont have to do that stupid activation thing each time, i'm good.

As soon as I get my Black Friday check, I vowed to myself that I'd finally pick up IG Maker. The "game" idea I've been throwing around for a bit now would not work in either XP or VX. Plus, I really want to begin feeling productive again. Coming home from work, slothing out, and then getting up to do it all over again seems to be a bigger energy drain than coming home from work and being productive in some fashion, even for just a few hours.
