    Gamescom 2010

I'm going to be in Cologne, Germany for Gamescom 2010 on August 21st 2010.

I plan on getting around to check out LittleBigPlanet 2, Mortal Kombat, maybe some new Zelda if I can ever get over the **** artstyle, and perhaps Lords of Shadow too.

Oh and Halo Reach too I guess, considering the crowd I'm going with.

Any other suggestions that maybe some of you want to hear about too?

Not gonna lie, kinda excited, never been to a game expo before, should be awesome!

I've been posting Guild Wars 2 stuff up in the online forums that's been going on in Gamescom.

So some stuff on that would be lovely for me~~~

More like if you can get over the horrendously huge line there will be~

Definitely try out the Nintendo stuff there. DKC and Kirby oughtta be there. I hear No More Heroes for PS3 and Xbox 360 is there. Check out MvC3 and Lords of Shadow, too.

Hope you got some REALLY comfy shoes!

I doubt Sony is gonna show anything for The Last Guardian, as that's been heavily rumoured to be unveiled at TGS, but if they do show something, THAT'S what you need to see.

E3 was a tremendous exercise in patience. And endurance. I dunno what Gamescom will be like, but using E3 as the standard, ummm... I hope you got pals with you or a DS or something to keep you company. Zelda just wasn't possible for me. Hours long wait. I got REALLY lucky with the 3DS. I practically sneaked into that. And I felt stupid WAITING AT ALL with so many OTHER games to try out.

But if there's a game or thing (like the 3DS) you know in your HEART OF HEARTS you just HAVE to play, **** it, just wait it out.

            Wait it out FOREVER.

Oh, and duh, but talk with the people you're waiting with. Make friends. That oughtta make the whole process more tolerable.

Gamescom was a blast. Wish I could go again today. It was wierd, I waited, like not even two minutes to play LittleBigPlanet 2. And it was alot of fun.

While other games there were hours of wait time, so it was just picking what game you really wanted to play. The Zelda line looked waaaay too intense for me, so I didn't even bother.

My longest wait was playing The Old Republic (and Gamescom 2010 is the first time it has been playable) and it was awesome. Soooo fast paced for an MMO, it's insane. Everything about it was intuitive too. I am already sold on it.

I'm also a big fan of the Driver series, and got around to playing San Francisco. The only game I played that I was really iffy on. They messed with the physics too much of what made the past games so great, I always felt like I was always in control of my car, not the case with this game. And I'm not entirely sold on the "shift" feature.

The most fun I had though was probably Dance Central. I think it could really sell Kinect. I didn't even have to wait at all to play it, poeple were only standing watching it, too scared to make an ass of themselves. Thankfully I already am an ass, and I'm glad I played, it was fun.

Anyways here is a few photos of my venture.
