    Freakin' GI Joes

Ive never really been into them since I was like 8. I collect Transformers, but goddamn I might have to get me some GI Joes this year.

Destro in heavy armor with a bigass gattling gun and a Smart Gun from Aliens AND a tiny suitcase full of money? Duke with a Pulse Rifle? Cobra sniper that looks like he belongs in Metal Gear Solid? Cobra motorcycles that transforms into Mospedea/Robotech style armor? Hot damn sign me up.

Theres also supposed to be a few figures modeled after the cast of the first Predator movie.

A Real American Hero doesn't need a pulse rifle. Just a fist full of patriotism.

I'm shocked that GI Joe is actually getting a new TV series that hasbro expects to stick around for 4-5 years.

Wish they could have had that kind of dedication for a CERTAIN TRANSFORMERS SERIES THAT WAS AXED PREMATURELY.

I only bought one GI Joe since the period in the 90's where everyone suddenly had to be mostly yellow, and that was the 25th anniversary duke that came with the jetpack and american flag like in the animated movie intro.

I managed to lose him soon after that.

looked for some of the 25th anniversary BATs, but everyone was troop-building them so I never even saw one.

Every GI Joe I ever owned I bought at a yard sale.

I was kinda on the fence about them when I was a little kid, I mean, on one hand they were much smaller than the rest of my action figures (usually ninja turtles or x-men), but on the other hand they had tons of moving parts, for epic action sequences.

Too bad the live-action movie was terrible.

I mean, Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector was better than that.
