    Content Removed: a web comic

So, me, my bf and his friend submitted a web comic to The Escapist to no avail. Still, we intend to put it out there after I've cranked enough out. Anyway, enjoy!

The art's not all that impressive, which wouldn't bother me if the writing wasn't weak and yelling wasn't considered a joke unto itself.

Their heads are so big it's like there's no room for anything else in the frame.

I think it's neat. Penny Arcade and MacHall had similar humble beginnings.

If you want to improve it, I'd say keep on rollin'! Comics are great drawing practice.

And besides, if you took the time to look through the other submissions, Kire's is actually pretty decent.

If Gabe and Tycho had posted Penny Arcade's first comics on here I would've said the same things. It wouldn't have made me wrong!

It's nice that you guys are honest and give concrete feedback, but maybe there is a balance to strike between that and not being soul-crushing?

Yeah, perhaps being relatively polite and providing constructive criticisms (Mora, you actually surprised me for once) would be better than just being complete ***** about it.

I had this discussion before, but I can see Mora's point in being a dick. It shows that he's not going to baby Kire and give him the same respect as he would his own friend. I don't know Kire as well, so I play around it carefully and supportively. If I knew him better I might've been a dick too.

                              A right dirty dick.
