Space Invaders Extreme

Picked this up from Live Arcade a few days ago and have enjoyed the hell out of it.

It's your typical space invaders, but with waves of enemies, and a boss fight at the end of the level.

Not to mention a fever system, and temporary weapons after getting combo's four of the same color. And a catchy thump heavy electronic soundtrack.

Also has online versus and co-op modes.

Somebody should get this and play with me. :3

I've had it on PSP for some time. I like it.

I had Puzzle Quest for the DS, and got it later on the 360. Don't think I'm gonna do it again for this.

It's pretty snazzy. If you have it for DS or DS Lite you can hook up the rumble GBA pack and it'll bump to the beat.

I'm surprised Square Enix had a had in it. Then again, I'm not given the quality of gameplay.

Speaking of gameplay, it has multiplayer. Anyone else have the DS version?

Square Enix either bought Taito outright, or gained licensing rights to their games.

Mid/end of last year, they were gonna buy Taito, but not sure if that went through or not.
