I bought this a few weeks back, seeming as I loved The 2nd Runner so much.

It kind of sucks!

Ehhhh, you can quit. All it was was an experiment by Kojima to make a game where you have to run away from the last boss.

It takes like an hour to beat.

It's definetly one of those games that the sequel is so much better than the original. But it's not horrible.

Other than that, you can quit it. ZOE2 is better than it in just about every way possible.

ZOE can be beaten in like 2 hours so just stick through it?

i really liked the story of ZOE as a whole because it was atypical of what you'd expect from a video game. the hero is a little chicken **** who's reluctant to save his colony, slowly develops a crush on jehuty, and then gets kicked in the balls throughout the entire story accumulating up to the climax where it's revealed *** SPOILERS ***
jehuty's mission is a suicide run... which he learns after his girlfriend is shot in the back.

i'm hard pressed to think of a character that was a punching bag throughout the entire story.

oh yeah, the virus portion of the game is awful but thankfully doesn't last too long.

I felt bad seeing her die, if you watch Idolo it goes alot into her background, and how she is the way she is.

Plus i think its safe to discuss spoilers, the game is what? 10 years old and everyones played ZOE2 in here.

I've wanted to play it again because of everything that Marcus just said. I think the story is much stronger than in ZOE2. But as a game? The Second Runner is the real deal.
