Yes, I have just made something in RPGM3 that is similar to an action battle/chess-like game system for some bosses.
To do this you need a 3*5 game field (dungeon) and touch eventson every square except the the boss. More to Come.
Here it Comes! Each Event around the enemy has a choice to attack, move one space, or block an incoming attack. After your turn, the enemy attacks, uses an attack based of of which square you are moving to.( Yes, an internal variable). Sometimes it will hit, sometimes it won't. Depends entirely on where you started from, and where you are going. Also, don't try to move two squares. You won't have an attack option, and each tile has a trap that does 5000 damage to the party (i.e. enough to kill you.) The internal variable of your character stores LP as well, and another shared variable stores Enemy LP. If your LP goes to 30 (5 hits) you die! If your enemy's LP reaches 300(50 hits), you win. Oh, yeah. Did I tell you that this was the last boss for Fall of The Kings!
