Is anyone paying attention to GameFAQs' best game ever poll?

Normally I don't pay much attention to how their bracket polls pan out because it's usually always Zelda that wins but some of the match-ups they have are particularly intriguing. Like the 2003 bracket where they've got Diablo 2, GTA 3, Halo and KOTOR. I'm curious enough that I wouldn't mind doing our own best game ever bracket poll just to see how everyone else's opinions stand up.

Or should I just guess Ocarina of Time?

That would be very fun I'd imagine.

All of us have varied enough tastes to where it can be interesting.

But yeah, it'll most likely end up being Zelda Ocarina or FFVII.

We should give it a shot though!

Only a little bit. That's the Poll of the Day forum which is really the Immature Adolescent Social Board. Kind of annoying when they actually post an interesting poll and a bunch of teens are posting all sorts of stupid crap all over the board.

Same here. Usually talk about a game I'm playing ATM to either get gameplay tips or help out noobs. I don't really bother with the social boards.

Isn't LoZ on the VC? That means there might be actually a larger number of people playing the game than normal for a game from 20+ years ago.

But today's bracket is just hideous. Look at the matchup:

Dragon Warrior III
Contra
Metroid
The Legend of Zelda

Everyone of those games is actually pretty good. At the very least, they're among the best NES-era games IMO. Totally bogus bracket, and anyone who knows anything about these GameFAQs contests knows Zelda's going to totally dominate it. They should have put Pong or something in this bracket instead of 4 excellent NES games head-to-head.

I voted for Contra too, since I figured LoZ and Metroid would dominate, and DQIII was basically a lost cause. I wanted to see Contra lose with some grace. I'm surprised Metroid has as few votes as it does though:
