    wow..a revelation

I've just realized that i'm in love with Puppetry/Stop motion animation/claymation/Animatronics/creature effects. I think this had been brought on by Team america and Wonder Showzen. But come to think of it, i've always loved these things (ya know when i wasnt scared out of my mind from it)

I think my first exposure to puppets was Muppet babies, thats right the show that was a spin off of the muppets. I remember it clearly, it was an episode where they got to make wishes and such. the last wish was ot see what they'd look like grown up, it then cut to a scene from one of the muppet movies. Freaked the living hell outta me. Another instance of myslef getting freaked out by muppets was from watching fraggle rock, the big orge guys that always tried to eat the fraggles haunted me! Alright so heres the point of this topic, i'm starting to build up my movie collection of movies that contain the above things. I'm up for suggestions for any movies/T.V i should check out.

Movies that i already have include:
    Gremlins 1 & 2
    Ghostbusters 1 & 2
    Nightmare before christmas
    Pee-wee's big adventure
    Muppets take manhatten
    Small soldiers

    On the "to buy" list:
    The dark crystal
    The great muppet caper
    James and the giant peach
    Meet the Feebles
    Team america: World police
    Little Shop of Horrors
    The Guyver
    The Labyrinth

You forgot The Labyrinth. See David Bowie. Hear David Bowie. Speak of David Bowie!

Meet the Feebles is one of the most disturbing movies Ive ever seen in my life. The fact that all the actors are puppets makes it even creepier. And its directed by none other than Peter Jackson.

I saw that movie on TV when I was 8 years old, and it really freaked me out. Hell it still freaks me out.

Alrighty so today I bought The labyrinth and The dark crystal for 10 bucks each. labyrinth is incredible David bowie's sphere tricks were so cool (I was however alittle disappointed that he didnt actually do the tricks himself, but it was ingenius how they made it happen.)

Yeah, the behind the scenes was pretty cool, seeing how they made all the special effects.

And that would be my first time hearing Jim henson's voice (not as Kermit or what have you) , its amazing how his voice for Kermit was essentially his regular voice.
