Traveling around help

I have a question. Which would you like better. To travel around the world with a hot air balloon, boat, and an airship, or with a teleport system?

I'm just curious.

I want to run around on the world map until I'm sick of it, then I want to take the subway. As far as a choice between the other two things, it makes no difference to me as long as it makes sense in the story somehow.

I like to run around and explore until I'm sick of it, and then start using teleports.

I like being able to have both options available. That way people can choose whichever they'd like to do.

Traveling around and finding things that can aid in your transportation is cool too. For example, let's say that you place special warping jewels around your world map to help you speed from place to place. As the player walks around the world map, he/she has to find the "wand of warp", which is used to actually activate the warp jewels.

I like to get lost on the map... scream, throw my playstaion into the wall run away screaming, have some soda, and then come back and try again. This is my test of how addicting the game is.
