I understand that a lot of people do not like this game, but a lot of people do. Only reason I've been playing it lately was due to a lack of any other entertainment. So I'm wondering if anyone else actually plays this game?

I played it for a little while (a long time ago) and didn't like it much. Felt like a poor man's EverQuest. With so many good video games to play (and especially with Guild Wars and Spectromancer to take up my online gaming time), I personally have no reason to go for Runescape.

I... used to play. Then I stopped. And started up again. But then I found my membership had expired. And I couldn't put any more stuff in the bank, cause it had like... probably twice the amount free players could put in. So all I can do is mine and smelt. Again. And again.Comment

dial-up not to mention i have a couple friends who play so its pretty fun.
