I actually enjoy this game! I mean, the graphics suck but the game play really isn't that bad! It's sort of a "Capn. Kirk Rpg".
But whats cool is that you can basically do ANYTHING! You can create trade posts, mining facilities, Blockades (These are cool because if somebody you don't like comes near them: *BOOM*) and tons of other things! Or you can just be a travelling trader or space pirate (You can kill ANYONE ANYTIME ANYWHERE!) or do pretty much anything you want...
Another cool option is that you can post quests for others to complete and even put a bounty (For as much as you want) on ANY player! There's this one guy that is about the most hated guy in the game: if you kill him you can collect a COUPLE BILLION CREDITS from different people! Yea I did a little research on him and I guess hes been involved in a lot of PKing, Illegal trading (An awesome game feature), Space Space Station raids, and a lot of other illegal activities...
The three alliances can also go to war (Everyone is at peace right now) and EVERYTHING in-game is player controlled! Seriously there's like maybe 10 NPC planets/space stations in the whole game (There's probably a couple thousand player controlled ones!)!

ANOTHER EDIT: The only problem that I have is that it has "Action Points". You start out with 5000 but EVERYTHING you do subtracts them... And they recharge EXTREMELY SLOW! Luckily in the newbie area the tutorial recharge them for free every once in a wile... But if you get lost or something and have low AP your screwed until they recharge. In the beginning you have enough AP to play for about 30 minutes. But don't let that discourage you because in the newbie area the tutorial "Auto-Charges" them frequently enough that, unless you do a little to much exploring or get lost, you should be fine... And once you leave the newbie area you can purchase better "Drives" which make it so that you can have more AP, recharge faster, and it costs less to do things...
