    American Gangster/Bee Movie Combo!

    I'll be brief people.

American Gangster was an 8/10. I'll admit that the beginning of the movie lagged a bit (I know because for brief moments I was staring into space), but considering that the movie is over 2 1/2 hours, the movie finally started to pick up steam at the 25-30 minute mark. I'm trying my best not to reveal spoilers for those who want to see this movie, but overall, I thought it was a strong performance by both Washington and Crowe.

Bee Movie...well, I don't think it matters that there were kids crying throughout the whole damn movie, but I thought all the hype surrounding this flick was in vain. Sure, there were big stars in this movie, like Oprah and Sting, but the film was average. Seinfield was annoying as hell in some scenes, like he was literally forcing laughs to happen.

EDIT: Okay, edited the "Steinfield" part.

If I were you, I'd see 'Gangster and avoid Bee Movie.

The previews intrigued me. Plus, this was, like, the first thing Jerry Seinfield's done since his show ended nearly a decade ago, and I wanted to see if he could still bring about that "unique humor." Unfortunately, he failed.

even the name tells you that it isnt going to be good. "b" movies you should skip, though by your review im thinking this movie deserves a lower rating.

how ironic that you saw this movie second as a traditional b movie and it preformed as such.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!

Yeah, can't exactly bee surprised about that. I mean, he was really just a voice actor in a kids movie on this one.

Did American Gangsta' have any scenes set in Vietnam?

At least it's better than The Kingdom, right Bon?

I loved The Kingdom, despite the fact that it was five hours plus long.

I also thoroughly enjoyed Breaking the Waves and Dancer in the Dark. Have yet to see Dogville, though.

Oh, wait, you're talking about some other movie called The Kingdom. Never mind, then.

I originally thought Bee Movie was just going to be the fake behind-the-scenes documentary that was in the live-action trailers and there wouldn't be an actual animated movie. Maybe that would've been better.

Karr, you can't truly appreciate movies unless you can appreciate the B movie classics. A hilariously bad B movie like Phantasm provides some of the best entertainment possible.

I never found Seinfeld very amazing at all. I have NEVER in my life sat through an entire episode of Seinfeld. EVER. Why? Because it always bored me to heck.
