    Squirrels: 1 Childhood Memories: 0

    What sick, twisted irony.... my first teddy I ever had was savagely attacked by squirrels. I had him since I was a little baby... Jamos sad.

        Did it happen something like this?

        =>=>

        In all seriousness though, sorry to hear. Things that remind of you childhood are precious, and it feels like you've lost a piece of yourself when something happens to one of them. The good news is that you haven't lost a piece of yourself, and you still have the memories... and besides, can't you patch the lil' thing up?

          Squirrels are evil. One of them snuck into my friend's room through an open window and wrecked up the place because it couldn't figure out how to get back out. When he got home, he said it looked like a bomb went off in there. It chewed on everything, ate part of a tube of yellow acrylic paint, and knocked all the stuff off his desk.

            Students at SHSU in Huntsville TX know the evilness of the Red Squirrels. A number of students have experiences being beaned in the back of the head by acorns and looking up to see a red squirrel and then hear their maniacal laughter. I am one of these students, and my testimony is truth!

            As much as I loved it, it was time to change it.

                I agree--squirrels are cute but deceivingly evil. I'm so sorry about what happened, Jamos.

                If it makes you feel any better, I remember one time a Squirrel chewed through some telephone wires near my old college. The little thing got fried like hell, resulting in an power outage on my campus.

                And nobody shed a tear for its demise.......although some giggling was heard.

                    I've always enjoyed squirrels, but that might be because I grew up in a country where there are none.
                    But whenever I popped over to England, one of the first things I did was go out to the park and feed the squirrels peanuts.

                    I guess I know not of their iniquities.

                      All of my childhood relics have been stolen by junkies. Or left in a public storage, only to have my mom not pay the bill, where they proceed to auction off all your ****.

                        One time I saw a squirrel with the bushiness of its tail stripped off. I laughed: it now looked like the rat that it was.

                          The squirrels in my old college used to eat french fries and M&Ms that people occasionally threw on the ground. No wonder the squirrels keep hangin' around!

                          I think my campus newspaper even joked about the mascot being a Squirrel. Obviously, there was an uproar over the whole thing, and the newspaper room's door got eggs thrown at it.

                              I'm sorry about your teddy, man.

                              What are you going to do to the squirrel?
