    Alright, I wrote a song.

I think... I'll post my rock song first. Cuz... it's the first one I see.

    ...And We're Gonna Rock

Here I am, so start the party, I'm a wild and crazy guy,
Smart as a whip and wise as a hairbrush, Oh what a fool am I

Let us let the celebrations begin, Let's rock for God's sake
Play and play untill the end of the day, Jamming 'till the amplifiers break

    (chorus)
    ...And We're gonna rock!
    Tomorrow may never come,
    And we're gonna rock!
    Party 'till the morning sun,
    And we're gonna rock!
    Everybody having fun
    And we're gonna rock

Get up man, Get out of your seat, only squares resist,
Cuz we've got a tune, and we've got a beat, so c'mon and raise your fist

Boozing whoring, and singing my life away, I dunno, don't ask me why
But I'll make a sensation, a rock celebration, but for now I just wanna say, "Hi...

    (chorus)

    (bridge)

    (Chorus into Coda)

As long as it sounds like classic rock in the end I'll be fine.

            This is a happy song.

            Nice Day

It's tuesday afternnon and I got nothin' to do
The sun is shining brightly the sky is azure blue
No troubles are troubling me, least not now
Figure I'll make the best of it, somehow.

            (chorus)
It's really quite lovely on this nice day
All of the rainclouds are miles away
I'm basking in the sunshine, come along and play
It's so wonderfully grand out here on this nice day

The grass is green, the air is soft, the bugs don't bother me
It's calm and peaceful in the shade of the quaint bluebird tree
The air is full of sound, of birds singing their song
On a day that's quite like this, nothing will go wrong

            (chorus)

            (BRIDGE)
And the sun... just keep on shining
Shine on, shine on, shine on!
Glow with the warmth that leaves me reclining
            ...On and on...Glow on!

The air is filled with lovelyness, and light, and dreams, and peace
Reassurance radiates down, and it seems it will never cease
It's such a nice day, yes life is my friend
I just wish that this day wouldn't come to an end...

            (CHORUS)

Do you have music for these?

If not, they're not really songs...and it's a lot easier to write lyrics to music as oppose to writing music to lyrics.

Some have tunes. I have the tune for the chorus of And We're Gonna Rock.

Damn, both of those songs suck ass.

                    I've written better stuff... um...

This one flows well to whatever chords are used in No Surrender, by Bruce Springsteen, though the melody is different, the feel is the same. It has a weak title, but the chorus doesn't really offer a better one...

                    -Winter Is Coming-

It seems that nobody ever really questions why,
With the dusk to fall and the day to die,
                    Wanna but everybody's trapped inside,
                    Of their TV home realities...

And there's thunderclouds of cigarette smoke in the air,
                    Either I don't know, or I just don't care,
Livin' but I'm just standing there,
                    I'm not moving...

                    [CHORUS]
Well we're surviving it baby, and I'm giving it back,
Come out on top of at least a hundred attacks,
It's gonna take more than that to take me down....
                    [/CHORUS]

Re: Alright, I wrote a song.

Well I been turned to steel and was forged from gold,
My heart got younger, my head got old,
From the blistering hellfires out in the cold,
                      of Antarctica...

Now I been working the pipelines, and payin' my dues,
Kicking the dust off and singin' the blues,
So many men, I'd rather be in their shoes,
                      It's not worth it...

                      [CHORUS] [SHORT BRIDGE]

Now the winter is coming and cold days are here,
The horizon is clouded but the sky is still clear,
Think I'll head to the tavern and get me a beer,
                      Or tequila...

But then I get no reception and I get no relief,
Just insults, and heartache, and squalor, and grief,
Robbed by a man I never thought was a thief,
                      Just a drug dealer...

                      [CHORUS] [BRIDGE]

It seems that I never really question why,
As another dusk falls, and another day dies,
Surely enough though, the sun will still rise,
                      And me with it...

And now the winter is coming and the winter is gone,
Keep pressing onward, never shirk from the dawn,
One day you'll die, but life will go on,
                      and on...and on...and...

a lot of the rhymes seem really easy and boring.

I like to sing in the shower too and pretend I'm a rock and roll star.
