Re: Video game pickups

There are a dozen different ways to play Chrono Trigger. Please do not waste your time with the godawful PS1 port.

Re: Video game pickups

Yeah, the load times wreck that game. Go SNES, Wii VC, or DS.

Re: Video game pickups

I got Natural Doctrine on PS4 for $10. It's actually a really challenging and unique strategy game, once you understand how it works..

Re: Video game pickups

Bought a couple of Choice of Games/Hosted Games titles, Community College Heroes and My Day Off Work. Very good, very different from one another. Dead Age, not so much. Missile Cards and Age of Rivals make up for it though.

Re: Video game pickups

I just grabbed Dragon Warrior 1, 2, 3, and Monsters 1 on Gameboy Color, all I need now is Monsters 2. I'm played a few hours of Monsters and while it's a bit repetitive, it's a lot of fun.

Re: Video game pickups

I've been playing Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth recently. This game is an SRPG that was released on the PS1 in 2001 (it tries to be like Final Fantasy Tactics, and Let Us Cling Together). The game can be a bit of an annoyance due to how hard it is. I recommend when starting the game you do all 20 floors of the Tower of Trials (it's easy) so you level your characters up for the hard stuff. I really need to how many endings there are, and how to get them. So far I only know of 5 endings but there might be more. I wish some FAQ or the game would tell you. Also be careful when making choices because one wrong choice can screw you up in getting a certain ending. This game also has permadeath (which is a big annoyance). I know they had a remake of this game called Hoshigami: Remix which came out for the DS in 2007. Hoshigami: Remix included a difficulty setting. You can choose between Easy, Normal, and Hard. Easy doesn't have permadeath but Normal, and Hard do. This game adds a new character named Kasha, and has a total of 6 endings. At least they tell you how many are in the remake but how do you get them is the BIG question. Someone needs to have a guide on how to get all of the endings in this game.

Edit: This should be on Unofficially Official What Are You Playing thread. After doing some research I found out that Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth only has 5 endings, and Hoshigami: Remix added an extra one.

Re: Video game pickups

I picked up Rise of the Tomb Raider for $10.80 through Humble Bundle. Lowest I've seen it before was $23.

Been looking forward to playing it, I had a lot of fun with the first one.
