      Jvr, that was happening in the game, so it's long over. I did find out he was from Columbia though.

      Anyway, I have another idea for Starcraft.
      It involves the team melee setting. You know, people sharing the same units and the like.

      In any team melee game I've played, it's always ended up as a disaster. If it's against the computer, it will win, and if you're going against other people, it's hard to tell who's going to be controlling what. It's strange when money is disappearing and someone else decides to cancel something you were building so they could make something.
      It's a rather disorganized mess like that.

      But, here's the idea. Decide before the game who will be controlling what, based on unit class and the like.

      Here's an example.

      Alto and Magus are on a team sharing units as Protoss. Alto will be controlling crap at the base (this means being in charge of building everything) but will have no control over offensive units, like zealots, dragoons, etc. Alto would only be able to control probes. He has full control of what units are built though, and where the rally point might be.
      Magus would have full control over all other units, and be the one who scouts, attacks, drops, whatever. Alto could help out, but only by controlling probes that happen to go along for the ride.
      Magus in turn wouldn't be able to touch any of the buildings to produce stuff, or make them fly away if they happened to be Terran.

      So in short, it kind of looks like this on what they would both do:
      Alto: Defense, expansion, unit production, worker control
      Magus: Offense, scouting, enemy harassment

      This could probably even get better with more people too. Think about it.
      If there are three people on each team, you could further separate who controls what on the offense. Let's say Armored is added to Alto and Magus' team. You could give Armored control of two specific unit classes, like dark templars and observers. Or archons and dark archons. Like that.
      If the team was terran, you could probably do this:

      Alto: (same as above, main base stuff)
      Magus: control over mechanical ground (tanks, vultures, goliaths)
      Armored: the...live, ground guys (marines, medics, ghosts, firebats)

      If I was added to the team, I might just control the ghosts only. Or science vessels, whatever.

      I think games organized like this would be really fun. I don't think games would drag on for hours on end because of all the interaction and micro work that's likely to take place. Downside of this all is that you need a lot of people on at once.

                    To be seriously honest, I'm booked for time all next week. I have a double page spread due for my school's newspaper, a ton of **** to catch up on, and work.

                    If you want, you can skip our round by default. Just play whoever.

                              Nobody will play with me. Garr's too scared, Syviar's too scared... no one wants any of teh Smurv.

                              Oh well, I guess I'm stuck playing with Armored. SHEESH.

                                Man, I'm just gonna throw my third match with Den because I've never got a chance to do it. Congrats on the win.
