I like how the taru's aren't leaping 3 feet with every stride now.
I wish they'd get rid of the console messages describing the battle, or at least simplify the data into something other than long sentences.
I'm really, really glad that the party set-up is more open now. Hopefully the exp is such that people level up faster by free-roaming in small groups, or accomplishing these card missions, not cramming into a safe-hole and pulling one ridiculously tough enemy at a time for hours on end. Yeah, I spoke my praises of FFXI before. Teamwork is great n'all, and it's indeed a nice feeling to be part of that "perfect party". But 90% of the time you're left with a group that makes grinding a real toil.
The only way to releive this is to constantly play with friends, and you guys left.
his footage has been deleted from his account.
even though he was banned from alpha and
couldnt stream anything anymore, SE basically
forced him to delete the archived footage he
had linked on his justintv page.
it really sucks to be so full of anticipation for
something that is at the least several months
away still. it seriously feels like christmas is
coming and i am 5 years old with no hair on
my body.
as much as i would like to state for the record
that ff14 will be my FINAL journey into an mmo
with serious and deep commitment, i dont know
if it will....but at my age, i have doubts that i
will explore another with as much intensity.
FF14 will have as much a factor on my life as
my own career does. gaming is a lifestyle choice.
its no different than housekeeping, or a job, or
whether you buy season tickets to your favorite
sports team. gaming is my life. it has been with
me since PONG. i have been witness to its progress.
it has brought me so many feelings and emotions.
i thank the pixel gods that i was alive in this era.
14 has a lot to live up to, and with all the mistakes
of its now aging brother, 11, i think it will have learned
from them. i look forward to being a part of this
experience. i hope all of you will be just as excited
or willing or just curious to see what we can accomplish
as a family.
we're pavies after all...been here since man learned
how to make fire it feels like.

Oh look, the combat is just as slow as FF11...gonna put me to sleep.
The online FFs always intrigued me, and there is a lot they could do with it, but the extremely long travel times and insanely slow combat just put me to sleep. This one seems to be the exact same.
