man this is difficult for me, it's gotta be between Final Fantasy XIII, Heavy Rain, 3D Dot Game Heroes and Red Dead Redemption.

2010 doesn't have any clear winners for me. The games everyone seemed to love I hate, and the games everyone hates I love--warts and all.

2010 GOTY (so far)

What are your best games of the year for you personally? For me, it's P.B. Winterbottom, Limbo, Monkey Island 2: SE, Mass Effect 2, and God of War 3.

I'm sure Dead Rising 2 will be up there as well, but that remains to be seen.

ME 2, because it's awesome and also probably the only game released this year I have played. I buy used mostly, so there's naturaly going to be a several month delay at minimum. Hence why I just beat Arkham Asylum and move on to Borderlands soon.

I Kind of feel dumb for answering this topic now, when I really lack the drive to finish most games. Mass Effect 2 and Mega Man 10 are the only games I've finished this year (Unless Megaman Zero Collection counts). I've bought other games, but I havent played them much. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Transformers: War for Cybertron, Pokemon Soul Silver, Ace Attourney Investigations, Final Fantasy XIII, the only one of these that I've REALLY played is Pokemon. Only two new games were really able to grab me, and keep me interested long enough to finish.

Actually I realized Dark Void also came out this year, and I beat that. Although that doesn't change my answer.

I'm sure Little Big Planet 2 will probably be my game of the year.

And yes, I think it will revolutionize gaming.

I am sure LittleBigPlanet 2 will be a very good game, but everyone also thought the first LBP would be a huge breakout hit that would have a long and productive lifecycle full of unfettered creativity but that wasn't exactly what happened. I think it's marvelous that you're so optimistic, considering. {:3
