    Re: DS Lite Leaked

It's like when I got my slim PS2 a month before it was supposedly coming out. I actually went to ask when they'd get them and the guy says "We've got one more in the back." CHA-CHING!!! But I'm waiting for a Black or Enamel Navy DS Lite.

Well, you saved me time, Magus.

Brain Training is more of a social thing. Talking to your friends about it and comparing, competing and so on.

Sounds like you haven't played the MegaMan Zero series. Give it a shot, it's extremely challenging. And MegaMan & Bass if you can find it. Another Castlevania game is coming over, too, which uses Wi-Fi. Furthermore, there's also Tenchu if you're into that.

You may want to look into Mario Vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. It's gameplay similar to that of classic DK, and has a level editor and Wi-Fi.

Fortunately, they'll be refining Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection overtime with the Wii.

What Wi-Fi games do you own? If you had just said the word, we'd have gotten it on with you.

Brain Age got on my nerves because when I'd write answers fast the handwriting recognition would think it was something different and go on to the next question while I was trying to rewrite, which led to 2 wrong answers. And the color naming thing, sometimes I'd have to say it three times for it to hear me. I liked the Sudoku though.

I think that's the thing...the social era for me is over. I don't go to school, and more guys here at work have PSP's then DS's. And Castlevania...I would literally keep falling asleep while playing it. Same with Mario Kart, but that's besides the issue, although I do have fond memories of Diddy Kong Racing for N64, so we'll see how that is.

I never tried the MegaMan Gameboy & DS games because I've only read bad things about them. I might give them a shot though, because Powered Up for PSP is incredible.

If I'm going to play anyone, it's usually gonna be online. None of my real life friends don't have DS's, only my boyfriend. I'm guessing Tenchu will be better for PSP, but the jury's out till they actually come out.

I have Mario Kart & Tetris DS for online, but I really don't enjoy Kart very much. I'd be willing to try a few games of Tetris, though.

AHA! You reminded me! There's a new Diddy Kong racing game coming to the DS, which will have both Wi-Fi and a level editor.

Also, Yoshi's Island 2, the sequel to arguably the best of Nintendo's 2D platformers.

I can also confirm that those MegaMan games are great. MegaMan & Bass is perhaps the most challenging game in the Classic series, and Zero is the hardest MegaMan series by leaps and bounds, with some great gameplay mechanics. It's even more serious than the X series in tone, too.

Yeah, the social aspect is probably the main draw of the DS. A lot of the great games are made for lots of people to have fun together.

I've got those games, too. I'll hit you up on Tetris DS in a few hours.

If I'm already going to sell back New Mario after being disappointed after completing all the worlds, I don't know if I'll be that big on Yoshi's Island 2...and I really don't have very fond memories of the first one. Baby Mario annoyed the hell out of me!

I can't play...I'm at work and I'll be busy the next few nights. Might be available this weekend though.

Maybe you should keep NSMB for the Download Play Casino minigames. That's all my friends and I have been playing all day these past few days.

I'll see you on Friday. You can give me your FC then.

Back on the topic of the DS lite, there are reports of numerous leaks at several Target and Wal-Mart chains throughout the US. Check your local place and see if you can get your hands on one before Reggie lynches them.

They've got 50 of them on stock at the Navy Exchange on base. Best thing, no taxes... I might have to pick one up and trade in my crappy blue DS this weekend.

So, Challenge is nice, till it gets Frustrateing. I suck at Mega Man powered up.. MM1 is one of the most painfully hard games I've ever played. Is the gameplay tight, ir is it just hard?

I will admit I'm looking foward to MMZX... hopefully it will kill off the oh-so repetitive Megaman Battle Network series. I want a DS Lite simply for my eyes.. though if Kire dosen't get one. that means we are no longer mixing up our DS's

The gameplay is tight and the difficulty is high, pretty much. On Easy, though, it's not so hard.

The MegaMan Battle Network series came to a close with the 6th installment. It has officially ended for good. Meanwhile, ZX takes place between the Zero series and the Legends series. You play as a human character who uses things called "Biometals" to turn into a combat reploid called a "Rockman". Anyone who can use a Biometal is called a Rockman, you see, named after the R.O.C.K system for crystalizing combat information and memories of reploids past. It's set to be platforming goodness.
